The staff were so friendly and kind especially Arianny she was the sweetest. Loved that they had Alexia in the room it was pretty entertaining. The location is good too it is close to Hyde Park.

This is a good hotel in an excellent location five minutes walk from Paddington Station. We booked a standard room with king bed. The room is a tight fit but this is typical of London hotels and for the price range is excellent value. Our room had been recently renovated - i think this has happened to most of the hotel. It's a good place to base yourself for a couple of nights to see the area and close to the tube. Front of house staff were friendly and helpful. There are a number of restaurants nearby, Hyde Park is a 10 minute walk. I would recommend the hotel for those looking for a reasonably priced central London short stay.
Great hotel and location
A excellent hotel in a good location, only a short stroll through Hyde Park. We like how close it is to Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate. The hotel includes nice amenities such as a complimentary mini bar, a gym, and so on.
Great stay
Had a great stay at the Mercure Hyde Park. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lovely ladies Mary and Sophia. The location is great and has lots of transport links to get around London.
Excellent Central Choice
Very comfortable room, clean; central but quiet location. My original room had a musty smell (cleaning cloth), but they changed it without problem to a better one.
Amazing
No. 1, great location. Two mins walk to Paddington station. A lot of eateries for munchies late nights, bars and local food like fish and chips as well as good cuisines if u need Indian, Lebanese or even American food as we all miss home food at times No.2, great staff. I mean, they were so helpful at all times, always there to help, very friendly, very cozy and homely. No.3, clean. You have got hotels who insists on room cleaning even when you don’t want to be disturbed. But here, they will check everyday if u need it and if u don’t want to be disturbed, they’ll come at a later time to clean as long as you give them permission. If not, they will not intrude into your room otherwise and they respect your privacy.
Exceptional
The staff went above and beyond for us. We got engaged just before we arrived and my partner worked with the team at Mercure to organise a surprise bottle of champagne for us to celebrate, it was such a lovely surprise! The room was what we expected, in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The heating in the floor of the bathroom was a great surprise! Loved the bonus free drinks in the mini bar too.
